Ideas for 5 Nights in Wengen and 3 nights in Lucerne

Ideas for 5 Nights in Wengen and 3 nights in Lucerne
My fiance and I have pretty much decided where we would like to visit on our honeymoon in June/July 2016. Wengen and Lucerne are two places on our list. We plan to spend 5 nights in Wengen and 3 nights in Lucerne. Looking for some ideas and suggestions on how to spend these days and nights.
We are planning on staying at the Romantik Hotel Schonegg in Wengen. Any reviews on this hotel?
We would like to do some hiking (not too strenuous...my fiance has had two back surgeries so he is somewhat limited.
We would like to visit Grindelwald to do the zip line
What else should we consider?
Any restaurant suggestions? We dont mind spending more on food and wine.
In Lucerne we are considering the Art Deco Hotel Montana. Again, any reviews on this hotel would be appreciated as well as any ideas for things to do. Restaurant recommendations?
~We would love to do a cruise on the lake
~We do not want to do any museums
~We enjoy strolling the streets without a plan as well

There are lots of easy to moderate hiking in the area on both sides of Lauterbrunnen valley. You can do a different hike everyday and get very different scenery each day. http://www.wikiloc.com/trails/hiking.../lauterbrunnen
Trummelbach Falls is also in Lauterbrunnen valley. It's a cave carved out of the mountain interior. It's a glorious way to spend a hot afternoon because the glacial melt water keeps the caves very, very cool.
The Jungfraujoch on a clear morning is expensive and time-consuming to get to but it's epic.
On the other side of the valley is the Schilthorn. Take the cable car up from the valley to Murren and then up to the mountain top for an unequaled 360 degree view of the region.
Bicycle rentals are available and there are a number of loop rides you can do which are flat or downhill, regaining altitude via cable cars.
Paragliding!!!!
If the weather is cloudy, head up to Bern for the day. It has a well preserved medieval center and a great Einstein museum. Yeah, you said no museums but this is Einstein I'm talking about.

Great plan for Lucerne + Wengen.
Hotel Schönegg is fantastic. The kitchen there is the best in the region and one of the best in the entire country.
Not sure about the zip line with back surgery history but that's up to you. The zip line is accessible at the top of the ski gondola from Grindelwald up to First.
There are a myriad of hikes in the Wengen area that are drop-dead gorgeous and not too strenuous.
I have a 45+ page guide to the region based on my 19 trips there. (When we stay in a hotel -- which we rarely do because we rent chalets for our more extended visits -- we always stay at Schönegg) If you don't mind popping over to TripAdvisor, look me up by same screen name and send me a Private Message including your email address and I can send the guide to you. Yes, I live in CA but I am the TripAdvisor Destination Expert for Wengen, not some weirdo trying to get your email address.

You will have a wonderful honeymoon, congrats!
Wengen is very well situated, and you can spend a lot of time doing not strenuous hikes in the area. We spent 6 days a few years ago, lucked out with the weather, and enjoyed every minute of it. I don't have a list of the hikes/things we did, but take a look at my pictures, and you'll get the names of the places we've been.

Obviously going by train if going to Wengen, car-free Wnegen - lovely lovely awesomely lovely Wengen - and you'll be in Switzerland for 8 days - the 8-consecutive-day Swiss Pass should be a great deal for you - cover not only trains to Wengen in full but lake boats, postal buses, city buses and gives free entry to nearly 500 Swiss museums and paying-admission sights - like several in Lucerne.
Or investigagte the Berner Oberland Pass too - valid for I believe travel to Lucerne or at least a discount.
Anyway for lots of great info on Swiss trains, passes, etc check www.budgeteuropetravel.com; www.ricksteves.com and www.swisstravelsystem.com.
wet weather can set in anytime in the Alps and for days at times - keep plans flexible - day trip to Bern, a city with covered walkways in its center and a wonderful city often overlooked!
