Moving Back Home to Travel Back Again

Hello,

I have just completed my travels around Malta, Greece, Albania and Serbia and am moving back to bristol to refuel and work for a few months, no more than 5 I would say, does anyone know of short term places that would accommodate me knowing I was not to stay very long? It's starting to make me very anxious!

Thanks

Phae

I stayed with http://www.cliftonshortlets.com/

Easy, one week stay minimum and Clifton is pretty surreal! Done!

I would not go down the route of holiday lets - and that includes Airbnb - because nightly or weekly rates with short term vacation rentals are unlikely to be as cost effective as a residential letting for any term beyond a few weeks. Besides which, contrary to popular (mis)belief, the majority of properties on Airbnb are mostly owner occupied and will free up for no more than a few days to a couple of weeks at a time. There are some residential lettings that will sign you on on a month by month basis (you need to hunt around to find them though), and if not a 6 month lease sounds like it would work for you. The Rightmove link above and any agencies that advertise in the local paper(s) are your best bets.

As in looking for someone that wants a roommate? See the link I posted in the first reply. Or go here: http://www.spareroom.co.uk/flatmate/bristol
