A Quick Stop in Lourdes

Traveling by train from Bordeaux to Nice and thought a stop in Lourdes would be nice? Is it possible to get an early train from Bordeaux to Lourdes spend the afternoon. Leave my luggage in the left luggage and then board a train for Nice? Need some insight,

no, it's impossible.

First, there aren't any direct early trains from Bordeaux to Lourdes AFAIK. The earliest is around 10 am. And that trip alone takes 3 hrs. There is a real early train that would get you there around 10 am but it requires 2 changes en route.

Train from Lourdes to Nice takes 9 hours or more, and 1 to 4 changes.

I don't think you realize how far apart these places are, Lourdes is practically down in the Pyrenees mountains, and it's not a big rail hub, either. It isn't really on the way from Bordeaux to Nice (Toulouse would be).

Just fly from Bordeaux to Nice. Easyjet flies that route direct in about an hour for about 50 euro.

There are several daily timings to Lourdes from Bordeaux which do not require any changes of train and take about 2.5 hours for the trip. The earliest currently leaves Bordeaux around 10 in the morning.

The problem with your plan is getting from Lourdes to Nice. That trip, by rail, will take at least 9.5 hours and involve a minimum of two changes.

Even if you can make the connections work, you might struggle to find it "nice" to be surrounded by so many obviously very, very ill people, including children. Many people also don't find all the commercialization of these desperate people's hopes "nice" either.
