I wonder if anybody can give me an accurate time to drive from Tarragona to Haro-I have looked at 3 different map sites and get anywhere from 4 hours to 6 hours. Thank you.

As all roads go past Zaragoza, you can expect the drive to last around 4-1/2 hours, without stops. We normally stop for lunch, which you can do at Restaurante Maher in Cintruénigo.

We found roads in Spain, around that area (but not on that specific route), to be good; however, I'd "allow" at minimum the longest suggested time and hope that maybe it's less. This looks like a winding route, and you never can predict weather or delays. When we use things like googlemaps to plan drives in Europe, we generally just almost doubled what it said and overall have experienced that it usually takes 1.25 to 1.5 times as long as the map service say. So by planning on twice as long before HAVING to be somewhere, but almost always getting there before that, we never missed connections/admissions/etc. Plus you don't say anything about stops, which are never factored in.

I hope you have several days (well at least 2) in Tarragona--loved it!!

Oh, and perhaps you are already well-aware, but---many tolls on Spanish roads. And we had trouble with our American card--which is "chip-and-pin" but not really-- It has chip but not like needed in machines in Europe; we were not surprised by this, but disappointed. I can't wait til that technology actually kicks in over here. Chip-and-pin from US banks seems to be really chip-and-signature and many machines in Europe can't use them--SO have plenty of Euros for all your drives. I'm sure there's some app that will guestimate your toll amounts.

Guía Repsol shows three options, the shortest being just under 4 hours using the AP-2 and AP-68, with tolls totaling 39,50€. The longest route is 4hr 35min, using the AP-68, with tolls totaling 25,40€. We normally avoid the toll roads when we can, in this case using the N-11 and N-232, which takes you through Alfaro.
