I am sorry I did not mean to have all cap when I wrote my message. I was in a rush and didn't notice my message was in all capitals. I know that means shouting on an email. Sorry again.
I will be traveling in August. How much would a good mid price B&B or hotel cost in Stirling or Glasgow? I know in Edinburgh it is much more expensive during this time period.
We would like a pleasant stay in these two areas. We like rooms that are a good size not to cozy. If it is in a B&B it should have a friendly host, have a yummy breakfast, be clean and a short walking distance from sights. We will not have a car. I would like the price range to be around $125.00 to $175.00.
Thanks

You should be able to get a room within that price range in the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. Very central located and totally refurbished within the last three years.

>> How much would a good mid price B&B or hotel cost in Stirling or Glasgow?anywhere. They are rooms in private homes - so some have very large rooms, some have small rooms, some have both . . . and it really doesn't affect rooms rates much. What you pay is based mostly on amenities and if it is in a very desirable tourist area - not on room size so much. If room size is very important to you, you'll have to contact each B&B you are considering and asking the room's dimensions (unless it is spelled out on their website)
