Cost of liquor in Turks and Caicos

I checked the price of a bottle of Grey Goose from Duty Free in Miami ($34) and am weighing the cost/vs inconvenience of doing that or just buying our liquor on the island. Can someone tell me how much a bottle of GG would be in Provo? We are staying in Grace Bay Townhomes area.

Liquor and grocery store prices in T&C are very high. Be prepared for some sticker shock! But I guess you have to weigh that against the inconvenience of carrying bottles with you.

It is very expensive to buy any food or drink there. When we went last year, we packed a suitcase full of snacks, crackers, etc.

These days with airlines charging for checked luggage I'm not sure it would be worth my while to pay an extra $25 each way for snacks and crackers.

It might be once you see the grocery store prices! Sort of kidding, but they are insanely high.

It's insanely expensive-- pick some up at the duty free before you arrive

Just returned and you were right - we spent a lot at the IGA and also eating out. I did buy a huge bottle of Absolut at Duty Free for only $30 and it carried us through the week (almost) .
