Photographer in Paris?
Looking for a reasonably priced photographer in Paris for a 30-60 minute photo shoot around the Eiffel Tower. Google never lets me down. Until this time!
Anyone here willing to be a photographer or know of a good one? I've had a few quotes but they are $500+ and I only need someone to document a surprise proposal. Literally use my iPhone and that would work haha.
Any suggestions or volunteers? I don't mind spending some money but looking for a reasonable option first. I'm so excited about getting engaged to the lady I love but need to cover the practical pieces to make it work.

YOu say you just want someone to hold an iphone, etc, but then say you want a "good one" and want a professional. Which is it? I do have a crazy idea which is ask some itinerant "artist" to do it, they are around the bridges and Notre Dame, don't know if they hand out at Eiffel Tower.
Google could be your friend if you use the French yelp for photographers. I guess better than nothing.
I have no idea if these people are "good" or not, but they are located in that arrondisement and do advertise exactly what you want.

The package is 220 euro which is better than $500. Don't expect to get this real cheap for a professional.

If cheap is a priority, stop a passerby, like people do all the time, and ask them to take your picture. Or, here's a thought, enjoy & remember the moment. "Arrangements" can be a distraction in an otherwise memorable event.

Thanks all for the replies! To clarify I'm not in need of a professional (don't think I said that?) just someone that I can pre-arrange with but you're right I could do the whole stranger approach.
Thanks for the links I'll check those out as well.
If it comes down to paying some money it won't be the end of the world; this moment is worth far more to me and I'd love to have it saved in physical form for us to cherish.

A couple of notes:
$500 is only 350 euros - next to nothing for a professional photographer (although I'm sure you will be able to find someone)
BUT - is this what your fiance would want? Maybe you've talked it over and she wants a big public production - but I always think if I were one of those poor women I would refuse and leave - no matter how I felt about the guy. IMHO an engagement is a private event - not a public spectacle.
