Trip report: solo female traveler in Spain
I went on a 2 week trip to Spain - it was my first international trip and I was so terrified at first! I don't speak Spanish and I was scared of getting lost. I stayed in hostels and ended up meeting a ton of fun people who became instant travel companions. My itinerary was: San Sebastian, Barcelona, Granada, and Seville.
I wrote a travel blog of pictures, tips, and stories:

Thanks for reading!

Hola
Thanks for this. Your blog reflects you had a wonderful trip. I loved your photos of La Boqueria market. Best market I've been to! Interesting egs.of Barcelona theft. This forum gets alot of chatter about the Barcelona scams. And the cops seem indifferent. The more people post about it the more pressure on Barcelona officials to clean it up. Happy travels.

Thank you for the kind words worldinabag and CBLtravel! It was such a fun trip that it made me wonder why I didn't start traveling when I was younger, like when I was in college.
I was definitely scared of going to Barcelona because of the pickpocketing scams I had heard about but I think you'll be fine as long as you're aware. Hold your purse/bag with both hands!
