Falkirk art installation - The Kelpies

The Kelpies, installed near Falkirk, Scotland, last summer, and only recently opened to the public have been mentioned in a few forum posts, so I thought it might be nice to share some pics of them taken by a fellow Fodorite - wellidontknow / stilldontknow / weegie.

We saw them from the highway on our recent trip. I was impressed, but my husband didn't care for them. The Falkirk Wheel was fun, though, once we found it.
