Yikes! Is there no Bernina Express on Sunday, Aug 31?

Am I looking at the Swiss rail site incorrectly? We have reservations to spend the night inPontresina on August 30 to take the Bernina Express route on the 31st, but, am not finding it on the rail schedule.

I haven't looked at the rail schedule, but if this is the case, you can always take the Regio train which follows the Bernina Express route instead.

That's what we did.

An excerpt from my trip report from December:

<<It was Sunday; only one Bernina Express train (with the panoramic windows) was operating and it didn’t leave until 11.21 am. Undeterred, we caught a train to Pontresina and then boarded the Regio train which follows the Bernina Express route to Tirano, Italy (a very nice train by the way). As with the previous day, the train stations were deserted at this hour; we had an entire car all to ourselves and were able to open the tall windows at will, facilitating our photo taking, of which there was quite a lot.>>

Unless I'm missing something, there's a 9:29 am departure on the Bernina Express (with panorama windows) on Aug 31.

And several region trains.

Thanks so much, Melnq8. I don't know what I was doing wrong. I have just been reading your winter wonder. Am getting lots of good ideas. Right now I have reservations for two nights in Zürich and then only one night in Pontrsina.I may have to rethink that.

Loads to see and do in the Engadine, the more time there the better IMO.
