Amalfi (town) to Pompeii (ruins entrance-luggage storage area)
Hi, my mom and I are leaving Amalfi (the actual coast town) and heading to the Pompeii ruins around 9-10AM on a Friday this June and were wondering the fastest way to do this and was wondering if anyone would know of a reliable place I can book this online in advance. Thanks!

The fastest way is by car, so if this is a one way trip (is that why you want luggage storage?) take a cab or ask your hotel in Amalfi to recommend a car and driver.
The public transport option, much cheaper, is by SITA bus from Amamlfi to Sorrento, then the Circumvesuviana train to Pompeii Scavi. This will probably take a couple of hours all in. No need to book the train, although it can get very busy.

>>>The train from Sorrento to Pompeii is a commuter train so no advanced reservations. You buy your ticket at the station.<<<
This commuter train does not have reserved seating and you can't purchase online. It would be possible to buy tickets in advance at a station.
Another option is the Campania Artecard 3 day Tutta La Regione. (32€) if you are somewhere to purchase it in advance (available in Naples train station and other sites). It would include the bus both ways (and for three days all along the Amalfi Coast), entrance to Pompeii, the commuter train. The 7 day card does not include transport.

If you are arriving in Naples, you could pick up this card there and use the transport part to get to your hotel in Amalfi and Pompeii as long as your visit to Pompeii was going to be within the 3 day (ends midnight of 3rd day).

I can't offer any more help with your questions but I did want to mention that if it's a hot day, then Pompeii will be as hot as hades. Take sunscreen, water and hats. If I go again, I'm taking a small foldup umbrella for extra shade. It's fabulous, but hot!
Oh, and I live I Australia so I'm used to hot weather.
