Minneapolis Airport: Meeting Help
Flying into Terminal 2 at 9am Fri. Need to meet a party @10am that is flying into Terminal 1 to share rental car. Neither of us have ever been to MSP. Where would be a good spot to meet them?

You could do one of 2 things: sit at Terminal 2 and wait for them to pick you up with the car, or take the light rail over to Terminal 1 and meet them at baggage claim.
Light rail is free between the terminals, but its a bit of a hike to get from T2 to light rail, and again a hike to get from light rail to T1 baggage claim. If you have minimal luggage and an hour to kill its fine.
The drive between the two terminals is fairly short as long as they don't get turned around. I suppose you could take a cab over to meet them if you don't want to drag your luggage around.
FYI, on-site rental cars are in a parking ramp across from the terminal, so you'll have to walk over to get the car once they arrive.

You'll have to use the light rail to get from one to the other.

Now my colleague says she's not sure if the Budget rental care is actually over at Term 2. Guess we'll play it by ear. Sounds like no matter what I do, it won't be too much of a hassle. Thank you for your help!
