GIRLSTRIP TO BARCELONA
We are two 19 year old girls and we are going to Barcelona in December. I was wondering if this is a good season to go, weather wise there? Hotel wise, we want to live in the very center of Barcelona and we are planning on spending approximately 130 euros pr night, any suggestions? We are interested in cafe's , bars, restaurants and night clubs that fit our age group.Tips are gratly apprechiated.

Past 17 years weather statistics for Barcelona in mid December says average highs at 58F, four hours sun/day and rain one out of ten days (wetteronline.de)
I suggest you stay in the vibrant and medieval El Born area. Plenty of late night bars, clubs, tapas bars, cafés, terraces etc. The area in and around central Passeig del Born is packed with a wide range of fine and fun places. http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.c...s/el-born.html

Weather wise, it starts to get a bit chilly in Barcelona during December. But, I honestly believe it depends on the year. One December I was in Spain, it was really cold and the next it was more mild. Although, I think it is always better to go in December than in January of February 
In terms of bars, clubs, ect... there are so many places that you can go in Barcelona for that. It really depends on you a bit more and what kind of atmosphere you like and what you are into.
Down by Vila Olimpica there are tons of bars and clubs at night. There is a strip by the beach with a seemingly endless amount of bars. I would say the music is more Top 40 here and this area is where you will find more international people. It can be fun and I like the music and variety. But, it is not the most upscale area... Also, they have a few really big clubs there that are pretty popular.
Gracia is one of my favorite areas to go out. There nightclubs tend to be a little more upscale than the ones in Vila Olimpica. You have clubs like "The Sutton Club" which is known for being a more fashionable club and sometimes exclusive. So, if you go there, you will want to be dressed appropriately. There are also tons of other clubs in this area that are pretty fun.
Eixample is also a nice area for bars, clubs, and food. One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona is here. It is called "La Flauta."
As Kimhe mentioned above, Born is also a good area to go out at night in. Although, it was never my favorite.
It just depends more on your style. My suggestion is to go out in each area. It will make each night different and more entertaining

My favourite lunch place in Barcelona L'Aribau is in the same street. On the corner of C/Aribau and Corts Catalanes, just beside the university from 1450. This is a very typical and local atmosphere place with no fuss and great Catalan food. Lunch is the main meal of the day for most Spanish, and places like this normally has got bargain three course Menu del día with drinks incl. from about 1pm.
In L'Aribau all kind of locals drop in for a three course lunch for 8,60€ (before 14, 9,60€ after 14h). Salad or today's soup, grilled meat or fish with poatatoes/vegetables and dessert. Excellent place with lots of local specialities.
