Hi guys,
I am a new expat just come to UK. I and my love are going to plan a trip around UK but not sure where to find a full trip package with offers (or at an affordable price). The package would include hotel room and transport fee as well. I am a traveler but still new to UK so it's a bit difficult for me to find a good one.
Any hints for us? Thank you and nice to meet you guys!

If I understand you correctly you are asking for package deals for travel inside the UK.

It's close on impossible to get what I think you're asking for, EXCEPT for prepackaged "if this is 10 am Monday, it must be Stratford on Avon" style tours (which I know nothing about, but doubtless there'll be others coming along later who do).

None of the sites sparkchaser cites offer, say, five days in Scotland, including or plane train and accommodation, departing London. They offer what we call package holidays: complete packages - to destinations somewhere abroad (holidaying in the UK is an odd and exotic think for most Britons to do). They DO offer cheap rates for hotels: to get to the hotel, you need to drive, familiarise yourself with www.nationalrail.co.uk to get a train or browse Ryanair, Easyjet, Virgin and BA for flights.

There is a specialist niche in bus ("coach" in English)-based holidays, which offer Britons who can't or won't drive or use proper public transport complex door to door packages. Mostly aimed at the indigent elderly, they're accessible by googling "UK coach holidays". Almost by definition, they're aimed at the time-rich, cash-poor, and rarely use accommodation most expatriates would expect

lol, Flanner, my mum goes on a lot of those. she and her admittedly elderly friends [not all of whom are on their uppers] like to be transported from one place to another in a nice comfortable air-conditioned coach and having excursions planned for them every day.

that said, smartboy, though i'm sure my mum and her friends would love to have you come along with them. I don't think that's quite what you have in mind. are you after an over-view of the UK with the idea that you will visit places in more depth later? or a longer stay in fewer places? how long are you going to be in the UK?

and [the most important question, IMO] why do you want an organised trip? now you are living in the UK, you have a great opportunity [which i'm sure you recognise] to get to know it better. we have a terrific [if expensive if you don't plan ahead] rail service, relatively cheap internal flights, and lots of long-range bus services.

Tell us where you want to go, what you want to see, and how long [and how much money] you've got, and we'll help you get there.

do it yourself... visit different areas over the duration of your stay.. there is way too much for one trip.

rent a car if you do not have one. pick an area to visit: let's say the cotswolds.. buy a guidebook.. research on line... book AA suggested B&B's. read here about our favorite places..

after that trip plan a visit to another area..
