I will move to Barcelona from Ukraine next month and would like to ask if someone knows a tour company that cen provide a tour around the city?

I agree with Rubicund, Barcelona 'hop on hop off' city tour is a good way to get to know Barcelona. The bus will take you to the city's most attractive monuments, plus give you great information about them! Tickets are 26€ but the best thing to do is to buy the 2-day ticket (at 34 €) so you'll be able to take your time and enjoy this vibrant city at your own pace!

Schedule are: 8:30am to 8:00pm.

We had very limited time in Barcelona before leaving on a cruise, and did a private, half day city tour with Barcelona Day Tours, which we greatly enjoyed. They offer a variety of group tours, as well. They are very accommodating.

For what you want (to make a proposal), you might be interested in checking out The Golden Wheels (www.thegoldenwheels.com) or Blai Limousines (www.blailimousines.com) and let them know what you have in mind. It should impress your girlfriend. Forget the HOHO bus for this.
