Special Thai Food Event

I don't know who will be here in Bangkok on this date but if you happen to be around I highly suggest this once in a blue moon dining event for gourmet Thai food:

Date: "9th August 2013"
Time: 7pm – 10pm
Place: Blue Elephant, Sathorn Road
Concept: Thai Modern vs Thai Authentic
Price: 4,999 Thai baht
Availability: 50 - 80 seats
Booking: TRN magazine
Tel: 02 991 3031-3, [email protected]
Chef David Thompson and Tanongsak Yordwai / Nahm
Chef Ann Pavita Sae-Chao (Ember Room, NY)
Chef Bo Songvisava and Dylan Jones from Bo.lan
Chef Nooror Somany-Steppé from Blue Elephant

For more information: http://www.bkkrestaurantweek2013.com...al-wine-dinner

There are other events with some of the best chefs in Bangkok cooking as well and you can check them out from the link above.

Enjoy!

jacketwatch - If I hear of an event happening in October I will let you know.

I think this is a very unique gathering of top chefs who specialises in Thai cooking. I might even go!

I would have thought you already had a couple (or 3) tickets in your hands, Pook. haha

Sounds like a great event. Wish I could be there, even if I'm not a foodie as much as other fodorites are.

Carol they did try to sell me tickets for the gala dinner at 9,999 Baht ++ per person but I declined. Then I noticed the Thai dinner which I think is a first time event having the biggest chefs who specialise in cooking Thai food together.

My wife say I'm crazy even thinking about it and pay her instead for a nice home cooked meal!
