Help needed with print-at-home D'Orsay and Orangerie tickets.
Back again. Sorry to be so high maintenance, but am I missing something?
I've been on both museums' websites and although they offer a print-at-home combo ticket to both museums, when I enter the sites I don't see that option. It says I can visit both museums within 4 days of each other. These are some of the sites I've tried.
http://www.musee-orangerie.fr/homes/home_u1l2.htm
http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/visit/a...n/tickets.html
http://www.digitick.com/musee-de-l-o...pg5-si343.html
Any advice? I'm trying to avoid picking tickets up at FNAC or at the museums.
Thanks,
Laurie

Go to the second link.
Ticketnet
ENTREE - MUSEES D'ORSAY & DE L'ORANGERIE - MUSEE D'ORSAY
Enter number of tickets
Validate
Confirm
Enter your information
I didn't go any farther since I didn't want to create an account.

I'm playing around with the website and it seems I can get print-at-home tickets for just Musee D'Orsay, but not in a combination with other museums. Doesn't seem right, but that's as far as I can get on this

The website is pretty clear as to which websites you need for which tickets, and it is clear you can't print the combo on that digiticket thing but you can on ticketnet or FNAC, is there some reason you don't want to do what it says you have to do?

Did you unblock pop ups? Do you have Adobe 5.0 or higher?
Did you go all the way to the end? Did you see this message?
"As soon as your transaction is submitted, you will be able to print your eticket. To open and print your e-ticket, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can save your e-ticket file on your computer and print them whenever you want before the show or you may also retrace your e-ticket in your “Follow by order” account in case they get lost."

Soooo......my computer just died. Great timing, huh? I'm going to go to the library tomorrow and try again. All I can say is when I tried for the combo it was making me select pick up at store or mail. When I tried just orsay, I got the print at home option. Rather frustrated and tired at the moment. Will battle with it again tomorrow. Thanks for your help. Laurie

You have to go past the screen where you select either pickup at store or DHL (select pickup at store). After that screen you'll give your credit card information and see the message I posted above. You have to go all the way through the transaction. At the bottom of the screen, on the left side, is a list of "Services." Click on eticket and read the FAQ.
Also under Services is a screen (contact us) where you can send an email.
If you don't unblock popups you'll never see that message.
I did everything but put in my credit card information since I'm not going to Paris (unfortunately).

Just an update on the ticket situation. The good news -- I got my computer working. The bad news -- I went ahead and purchased the tickets. I followed all the instructions afterwards about printing an e-ticket. My pop-up blocker is off. I have Adobe 5.0. I went into "Follow by Order." This is the message under my ticket:
IMPORTANT NOTICE
1 - Tickets can't be collected at the venue,
2 - Tickets must be collected in a store. Click here to see the list : Retrait Magasins
I have sent an e-mail to the company, but I don't have high hopes. There is absolutely nowhere to save or print an e-ticket. I will let you know if I hear back or find out anything new. Thanks so much for your help though. A highly confusing system.

Did you get an order number or confirming email? Perhaps there will be a link in the email about printing. You must be getting an email voucher if you have to pickup at a store.
This is certainly a pain in the neck. Hope all goes well with the tickets and your trip is fun.

One more question. In case I am not able to print out these tickets (which I don't think I will be able to) can you tell me which location would be closest to where we are staying in the 7th arrondissement? I'm hoping the locations aren't too far away.

If you click on "services" and then "withdrawal points" there is a list of places in Paris.

None of these "withdrawal points" are anywhere near where I'm staying, are they? I'm going to chalk this one up to experience, get the printable single tickets, and put in a claim with my credit card company when I get back. It's a very misleading website. If and when I hear anything back from them I will post it here for anyone else trying to figure it out. I do thank you for your time.

Well, the choices are not good. There's a place at La Defense, one at the Sports Arena, and one at St-Denis. None of those places are near where you're staying. I'd probably go to the tourist office at St-Denis as that would be the easiest location.
OFFICE DE TOURISME
DE ST-DENIS
Du lundi au samedi : (Monday - Saturday)
9h30-13h00 / 14h00-17h30
dimanches et jours fériés : (Sunday and holidays)
du 1er/04 au 30/09 : 10h00-13h00 / 14h00-15h30
du 1er/10 au 31/03 : 10h00-13h30
1 rue République - 93200 ST DENIS
You'll have to go there the day you arrive. The good part of this is that while you're in St-Denis you can visit the wonderful church.

Did you get the confirming email yet? Anything in it about printing the tickets?
What a total screw up (not on your part). I would definitely complain.
Just get the tickets Thursday evening when you go to the Orsay. If you get there around 6:00 there shouldn't be much of a line since tour bus people will be done and many people cave after a day of sightseeing and return to their hotels to rest.
