Belize
Think we have narrowed down Belize as our destination for our 10 year anniversary this October. We are looking for great AI resorts that are both in the jungle and then at the beach. We want to do a few excursions and then RELAX! Any recommendations? Oh ya, and Adult Only would be ideal

Both have good food. Chaa Creek is jungly so no restaurants close by; Victoria House is close enough to town that you can bike, take a golf cart, or a cheap taxi ride - lots of good restaurants on Ambergris. I got a good deal on Chaa Creek on Luxury Link. They have a nice restaurant and a bar that serves good food.

Very, very few all inclusives in Belize. Most properties are small, less than 50 rooms. Some do have meal plans, but, unless you're at an isolated property, it seems a shame not to visit other restaurants in the area.
I'd split between a jungle lodge around San Ignacio, then, head to one of the beach destinations.
If you're into remote jungle lodges with excellent birding, look at Chan Chich. Most people arrive there by charter plane. It's awesome. Meals and beer are included there.

Another option would be Lamanai Outpost Lodge--you take an amazing boat ride to get there, complete with crocodile and tons of bird sightings. Fantastic service and food, with plenty of local excurions (Lamanai ruins, plenty of wildlife, etc)

Mata Chica does not allow kids under 12 and we have a few other lodges and inns where you will not see many kids, if at all. You can find similar to AI, but less the liquor, but some will include local beer, rum and soft drinks. As close to an AI as you'll get in Belize.

Thanks everyone. We booked a Jungle/Beach package deal with 4 nights at Almond Beach Resort in Hopkins and 4 nights at the Treehouses at Caves Branch. Super excited! The Treehouses were able to give us an AI meals/drinks/excursions. We are on our own at the beach, which is fine
