Alacazar in Sevilla
Would it be advantageous to pre-purchase our tickets for the Alcazar in Sevilla? I have looked for someone posting about this and haven't had any luck. I have read about long tickets lines and waits to get in. Wondered if buying tickets online would help. Also what time of day is a good time to go view (in the end of June)?

My husband and I were in Seville at the end of May and had no trouble getting into the Alcazar. We went on a Wednesday before lunch. Of course, that doesn't mean that there might not be long lines at other times.
I thought it was beautiful-- I think I enjoyed the interior more here than the Alhmabra in Granada. Only wish I had taken a tour. You might be interested in taking a tour with Concepcion, mentioned in Rick Steve's guidebook. I took her tour of the cathedral and enjoyed it very much.

Hi. We recently returned from Sevilla. We waited on line for tickets for about 20-25 minutes.
We had done a walking tour of sevilla with Concepcion mentioned above. (Alfonso gave the tours that day). We enjoyed him so much we signed up for the Alcazar tour an hour later. For 5 euros each for that tour, it was well worth it. There is alot of history (and at least 3 architectural styles here). His tour lasted an hour and we remained for an extra hour on our own.
