Barclay Banks

I have a Bank Of America Debit card and I'm aware that there is no fee if you use it at a Barclay Bank ATM. My question is, how easy is it to find Barclay ATM's in London, The Cotswolds, York and Edinburgh? Someone mentioned that they are available at the arrival terminals in the Airport, but am wondering if I need a Cirrus Card for the rest of the trip.

They are reasonably ubiquitous. I wouldn't worry about finding one and even a BOA charge won't kill you if it is only occasional.

It's Barclays Bank.
Very common in London, larger places in the Cotswolds (such as Stow, Burford or Chipping Norton; smaller villages don't have ATMs), York. There are fewer in Scotland, as Scottish Banks predominate. You can check Barclays ATM locator at http://ask.barclays.co.uk/branchfinder/.
There are none at Heathrow Airport. ATMs there are run by Travelex or Raphael's Bank.

I was in the same situation, except that I was traveling only in Scotland.

As you'll see if you follow Alec's link, there are several Barclays branches in the heart of Edinburgh. But I had a very hard time finding them in the Highlands. Of note, I tried and tried to find a Barclays ATM at the Edinburgh airport, but I failed. Despite having read a post on this forum claiming that there was a Barclays ATM hidden near the international arrivals area. Maybe it has been removed.

In the end, I just bit the bullet and paid the fee to use a non-Barclays ATM. For my account, at least, it was $5 per transaction, plus a 1% foreign transaction fee.

I should clarify that: There's a 1% foreign transaction fee no matter what ATM you use. In addition, there is a $5-per-transacation fee that is waived if you use a Barclays ATM.

Someone on a previous thread had mentioned that there was one at Heathrow, I'm assuming that was incorrect?!
Thanks for your help

There used to be one in Terminal 5 landside, but all ATMs have recently (in the last year or so) been converted to Travelex or Raphael's Bank (which looks suspiciously like Barclays - same colour scheme - but has nothing to do with it and you will get charged).
