Earls Court pub or restaurant?
We arrive at our Earls Court area hotel around 1pm on Tuesday. Our plan is to have a nice pub (or otherwise) lunch and wander to the V&A for a few hours. Would anyone recommend a place that has good food and good beer in that general area? Appreciate knowing if anyone had a particularly good dining experience in that neighbourhood. Thank you!

Beer-drinking is a serious pursuit in England so it is no surprise the Internet offers plenty of advice. Try these sites for a start:

I've eaten at the Earl's Court pub twice (we liked it), the Courtfield pub - upstairs dining room (good), Gourmet Burger Co. (good for a burger), and The Troubadour Café (really good)-I guess we're easy to please.

Update: we ate at Orsini's on our first evening (fabulous) and the V&A another day (we didn't end up going to the V&A on our first day as planned because the weather was glorious so we did some outdoor things). Thank you for your suggestions.
With respect to the Earl's Court area, there were a couple of decent pubs in the area (The Goose, The Prince of Wales, the Pembroke). All okay spots to have a drink and a small bite.
We so enjoyed our week in London. So much to do and see. Can't wait to go back one day!
