Where to stay with teens in puerto rico?

This will be our first time to Puerto Rico. We will be going March 1 - 8. Our main reason for wanting to visit is to go to Vieques and do a night tour to Mosquito Bay but of course we want to do other things such as beach time, zip line (a safe one!), the rainforest, and visit Old San Juan. From what I can tell, the things we want to do are very much spread out so I am trying to figure out what is the best "home best". We would prefer a condo but are open to hotels that can have adjoining rooms. Another concern is transportation. We think we will have to rent a mini van but I am concerned about driving conditions so that is another factor that plays into our locations.
Any insights?
Thanks.

Options

Condo / Hotel in Isla Verde or Condado (San Juan) here you would be less than 1 hours away from El Yunque and Fajardo (for doing the night time Bio Bay trip, unless you plan on staying over on Vieques)

Luquillo Beach area Condos or for a hotel look at the Rio Mar or El Conquistador

Get a rental car / van especially if you want to explore - driving can be a little erratic by the locals (tend to not use signal lights) but you should be fine

For zipline typr tours, there are a couple close to El Yunque, some near Caguas, some along the central region see here http://www.discoveringpuertorico.com...aline-junkies/

Hope that helps

Yes, this is very helpful. It gives me a starting point. I didn't expect to find so many options all spread out. I was also very worried about what I read about driving there.
