Need help on 2 week vacation to Rome.

I have a quick question, going to Rome with my wife and we are staying there for 12 nights, 2 of those nights which we are going to spend in Paris. My question is how much money should I expect to waste on a trip with this duration. We are both in our early 20's and love going to bars and trying a lot of different food...I also don't expect to be using taxis since im already pretty familiar with European Metros.

What you call waste and what I call waste are likely to be two entirely different things. Can you be more specific?

I would say things like going to bars, trying out different places to eat, museums, sight seeing, things of that nature.

Rome doesn't have much metro service.

>>>love going to bars <<<

Do you mean clubs (dancing) or just a wine bar for a glass of wine and a snack? What time of year?

I think maybe the OP is a Spanish speaker. The word "gastar" in Spanish means to spend and to waste. I have had many students who were confused by this.
