Oslo and Fjords (3 days)
Hi everyone,
I and my husband are going to have 03 days in Oslo late of April and would like to seek for any advice/recommendations of the best places here.
I plan to have the 1st day to explore Oslo, and the rest of 02 days will be exploring outside of Oslo (in about 2 -3 hours by bus/train/car only).
I read a lot from here http://www.visitnorway.com/en/Where-to-go/East/ and it seems to be confused for me now with many same destinations such as Bergen. I do not know which is the best that I should pay a visit. Can anyone have any experience to advise me please?

The highlight of Norway is the fjords, specially the Sognefjord.
Given your limited time, I recommend you do the Norway in a Nutshell tour. The trip includes a very scenic train ride from Oslo to Bergen, with a fjord cruise and a stopover in Flam (a beautiful village).
The whole trip can be done in 1 day. But you could spend a night in Bergen or Flam.

I think you can do the same trip your own, but I'm not sure if it'd turn out to cheaper.

From what I read, please correct me if I am wrong that Norway in a Nutshell tour is the way that we sit on the train/bus all day & only see the sightseeing on the ways through the windows only. There are also some stop-over for us to see, but in few minutes only when we change the transportation? If we choose to spend a night, then, we will have more time to explore Bergen/Flam as you suggested?

Yes, it's true. You spend a big chuck of your time on the train and then once in Flam, you have little time to explore the village before catching the boat to Gudvangen.
Which is why I'd highly recommend an overnight. You have multiple choices: Stalheim, Flam, Bergen...

If so, I would not like to explore things like that. Then, can you please advise me a place that I could spend my 02 days? Is Bergen the best out of Flam, Stalheim or others near Oslo?

Everything you will discover in Norway will boil down to
1) it's a very big place
2) with very few people
So, for example Oslo is the lowest density capital on the planet and a visit to Bergen varies depending on how many cruise ships are in the harbour because the population varies so much due to them.
The Flam trip is pleasant, but do be aware that the place only exists because the tourists come (not at all unpleasant because of it).
The Oslo ship museum and the Konteki museum is a must, various stave churches abound, have a look at them all, they burn down on a regular basis so no smoking.

Bergen is an interesting town and a good departure point to visit the fjords, so you may want to your two days there. One day to explore Bergen and another day to take a day boat trip to a fjord (you'll see nice scenery from the boat and will get a sense of Norway's natural beauty and uninhabited countryside.)

Why not stay in Oslo, do the maritime museums (viking ship, kon tiki etc) and do day trips into the Oslo Fjord, which, imo, is perfectly beautiful. Flåm is really overrated in my opinion. Lillehammer is a nice destination from Oslo: it's got a great open air museum (Maihaugen) that really gives you grasp of Norwegian folk customs and vernacular architecture. Also there are some really nice stave churches nearby. 2 hours by train or car out of Oslo.
There's also a sailing/bus trip around the Oslo Fjord, but that only runs from May. You can book cruises through Oslo Fjord in april as well:
