Strasbourg to Walldorf, Germany
I would like to ask which transportation I can take to go from Strasbourg to
SAP company

You mean Walldorf (Baden) correct? Near Heidelberg?
Using the above-noted train travel site, it takes beteeen 2 and 2.5 hours one way, changing 2-3 times, tha LAST portion would be on a local bus.
Changes in (+/-Offenburg,) for sure Karlsruhe, then Wiesloch-Walldorf.
Don't know the final bus connection.
Perhaps email the company?

Any chance you can get one of your work buddies to drop you off/pick you up at the Karlsruhe hauptbahnhof? It is only about a 20 minute drive and the train connections are more direct/faster. The train station is just off the autobahn, so it's a quick drop off/pick up.
For a Saturday, using Tom 18's link, I found this direct TGV that only takes you 40 minutes, with 0 transfers:

I always found Karlsruhe easier to use than Mannheim. Love that the German railway posts the track number on the schedules found in the underground passage so you never have to even go into to the main station but can just go up to your quai/track....don't know why the French system can only announce the track 20 minutes before departure...always makes for a last minute scramble!

From Karlsruhe to Walldorf and back the connection is at least once every 30 minutes.
If you take a S-Bahn in the morning, you'll probably travel with a lot of SAP employees and you just need to follow them to the bus. If coming from Karlsruhe you'll arrive at platform 1 and need to get to the beack of the station on the other side of the tracks.
I think the buses are the 707 and the 721 but you can also ask the bus driver if unsure, they know where SAP is (or and of the passengers).
If you go at the weekend, buses are less frequent but you can also take a taxi. They're at the front of the station (platform 1) and cost about 10 euro to go to SAP.
Or you could walk from the station (20-25 minutes).

There certainly is a difference.
As you will notice when you type in Karlsruhe, several Karlsruhe appear that are hyphenated names...these are difference stops within the city/district of the same name. In DE, usually all trains stop at the hauptbahnhof (HBF), but not necessarily the smaller (hyphenated) stops along that line. If you lived closer in Karlsruhe to the Durlach area, it could actually take a train to your neighborhood, but you might have to wait longer for a train that stopped at Karlsruhe-Durlach or have to transfer at the Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof to get to Durlach (via a slower train to the Karlsruhe-Durlach stop)
Same with Strasbourg, which is the French spelling, vs. Strasburg which is the German spelling. You have probably already noticed that there are lots of towns in Germany with the same names (Neuekirche comes to mind)! To simplify, always pick the FRENCH spelling to guarantee that you'll end up in France and not some other German town with a similar name
So, you just want Strasbourg, pure and simple. On most international trains they make announcements in English as well as the host countries.
By the way - Strasbourg has a great public transportation system. You can buy a one day pass cheaply at one of the machines (English option available)and get anywhere you want quickly. Must buy the ticket BEFORE going down onto subway track though as I don't remember seeing actual machines there. Just remember to "validate" the ticket on the machine at trackside the first time you use it to avoid any issues/fines. There also is a tourist information office right in the train station if you don't have any info.

Also on http://www.bahn.com/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml, there is an option for car. is it to rent the car or to drive by myself? The cost for "mobility" (as on the website) is 15EUR.
