Going from Terminal 1 (CDG) to train station with little time to spare.

Usually when i travel to Paris I always land in Terminal 2 and then walk to the train station to catch the TGV to Provence.
This time I will land in terminal 1 around 9:25AM and my train depart at 11:40AM.

.The next train is at 1:50PM..which after a very long voyage which started at 9:30AM the day before would be a murder for my poor body, considering that I am not 21 anymore..

I would have only 2hours and 15 minutes to catch the 11:40 TGV.That's my dilemma..I know that it would be safer and less stressfull for me to take the later train.
.
What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Are you arriving on a intercontinental flight? If so, that could be a tight connection -- but only if everything goes wrong (and yes, sometimes it does): late flight arrival, big immigration queue, bags last off the plane, etc. But the CDGVal will get you from Terminal 1 to the TGV station in less than 15 minutes.

An important element you have neglected to mention is cost. If you have purchased a PREM ticket for 20€ on the 11h40 train, I might chance it as long as I were not checking luggage and I had the tickets in hand upon my CDG arrival.

Otherwise, I should take the 13h50.

I never plan to board a train less than 3 hours after the stated landing time (and I never even have checked luggage). I would take the 13:50.

The CDGVal station is down at the bottom level of the airport (arrivals are at the top level) so you just have to take the elevator down and follow the signs.
