hi!
i have a lithuania citizenship (EU) and i am 21...but i dont live in europe currently and i am traveling soon for a eurotrip
many museum's say that entrence for 18-26 eu members is free
anyone know if thats true? showing my passport is enough?
anyway used it before?

IME (with offers like that that had been tied only to citizenship but not age) the cashiers at the entrance barely glanced at the ID, and definetely never bothered to check residence.
It may be a different issue when there are more pricey offers/ discounts, like buying an expensive rail pass or such. But I doubt anyone will care for the few euros you can save at some sights or museums.
Just make sure you read the fineprint re. Free admission.. IME, restrictions to certain days or timeslots are not uncommon.

For any American resident young person under 26 - try getting in by showing a passport - even though officially may not qualify underpaid and over worked museum ticket window personnel may not care that much IME. And some may not have the EU only qualifier.
