Manhattan Dining
Hello All~
We will be staying in Chelsea next weekend and I am way behind on restaurants. We will be in town for 4 days and are looking for some great spots while we are there for lunch and appetizers/dinner. Our group of 4 has an age range of 42-70 and we love great food and wine. We are not looking for anything inJean-Georges scale, but would like some memorable spots to find throughout the City.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Sarah

If you find restaurants you like, do make reservations, even if you are going to a simple neighborhood type place. The city is incredibly busy, and Chelsea is a very popular weekend dining destination.
If you are looking for something simple and good, I like Tello's on 8th Avenue and 21st Street. Nothing fancy, but very reasonably priced Italian food.

Sarah,
The prix fixe lunch at Jean Georges is only $32.00 for a 3 course meal. Actually, this is kind of hard to beat for what you get - a pretty amazing NYC dining experience.
You can also go a la carte in the more casual Nougatine next door - same kitchen and food...
