Ooh! I do like this.....a new Public Art Trail

I've just seen this new site for a Public Art Trail around Glasgow's Merchant City....including a Tardis! Looks lovely and very interesting (and I'd never seen the Safety Pin before)....

http://www.glasgowmerchantcity.net/arttrail/index.html

Will try and remember to write a wee report when I've done the trail....

Thanks for the link - it looks really interesting. I'm hoping to get back to Glasgow next year, so I've bookmarked it.

Thanks for the link Ali. I worked on leaflets for a lot of similar walks accessible by the Underground from various stations around the loop back in the 90's. Not sure if SPT still has these available but they were a great way of seeing the city.

I've passed the link on to some Glaswegian friends, and some in Edinburgh too.

hetismij2 opefully you can do it on a day like today, sun splitting the sky, although you'd probably like it a bit warmer!

Weegie, I was just looking at the new Subway app to see if there is something similar, but not sure. A friend works in their marketing dept so will check with her...would lend itself to the App.

Talking of which I did suggest to the guy that designed the Public Art Trail website, that it was crying out for an App!

I still know a few people at SPT too, just checking with them to see if there's a current equivalent. With maps function on most phones it would be so easy to do these days.

Just downloaded it Alihutch. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed with it. Could have so much more on there. I suppose it's a start and something thy can update as they go along.
