Delta 757-200 middle seat with electrical/entertainment box question...

Greetings all,

We are scheduled to be on Delta's Boeing 757-200 for our next trip to Maui.

Please remind me, I know there is limited leg room for the middle seat passenger due to that electrical/entertainment box thing being stored under the seat in front of you, but I cannot remember if it takes up the whole space or not.

I *think* that there may be a little room next to it for a small bag, but I am not certain.

I travel quite light with only one carry on (usually a handbag that is of medium size) but it is a bag that I would want to keep near me rather than in an overhead bin.

I always give DH the aisle seat, and I take the middle, so if there is no room under mine, I could always stash it under DH's seat in front of him during take off/landing. We did upgrade to Delta's Economy Comfort seats, so we will have a titch more legroom.

If anyone can remember, your reply would be much appreciated.
Aloha and thanks in advance!

Below is the seatguru listing for the 757-200 Hawaii.

Make sure you're not in a less than comfortable row.

It wouldn't matter if it's that version of 752.

My family always gets aisles across from each other so we can talk and see each other but have easy access to getting out of into the aisle.

Thanks Rastaguytoday ~ I love SeatGuru! I always check it before making seat assignment. Our row is great, I just wish I could remember the size of that metal box. Aging is not always kind, LOL.

Hi dutyfree ~ I have been quite tempted by that! Happy to read it has worked out for you. Thanks for your reply!

Hey rkkwan, not sure I am really following your post, but thanks just the same, hope your day is good.

Overhead monitors in coach for the version of 752 Rastaguytoday linked to. No boxes will be under the seats to take up your legroom.

Ahhhhhh, thanks rkkwan, very kind of you, I get where you were going now.

...I checked out our specific flight and (so far anyway) it is a Boeing 757-200 with the individual 'on demand' behind the seat type monitors.

When I type in our flight number, this is what comes up and it is consistent with the info on the Delta website:
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Del...-200_Trans.php

Who knows though, these things can change in a minute, lol! One can only be so prepared.

Hi Tiff. I don't have anything to add to seat configuration discussion. Just wanted to say that for a long time I used to get the middle so my husband and I could sit together but I now try to get the aisle seat across and highly recommend it. Have a great trip.
