Sheraton KAUAI: Anniversary trip: Ocean Wing or Beach Wing to hear ocean?
The Sheraton is a much better price than the Hyatt in our package. Want to book a Deluxe Ocean Front room at the Sheraton Kauai to celebrate our anniversary in January or February. Is the Ocean Wing or the Beach wing better? (Beach wing is closer to sandy beach and closer to pool.)
We love hearing the ocean from our room. We don't care about the pool and won't use it. We enjoy the beach, snorkeling and swimming. We will also have a car to explore the island.
Thanks!

Thanks! Have returned from trip, and LOVED our 4th floor Deluxe Ocean Front room in the Ocean Wing. Wouldn't have gotten this floor if we didn't have our Starwood preferred guest card... Next time I'm going to book direct with hotel instead of booking a Pleasant Hawaiian package. Package is ok and travel agent friendly, however, Sheraton front desk says you have a better chance of getting the room you booked when you book directly with the hotel as a Starwood preferred guest. (free card)
