Carnival Breeze - Deck 9
I'm going on a cruise in December. I was reading the reviews for this new ship. A few comments were that if you had a cabin on deck 9, being under the pool deck, you could hear the chairs being dragged in the morning when they were setting them around the pool.
Did anyone close to cabin 9328 had that problem?
Thanks for your help.

Having not been in that particular cabin, it is very ahrd to comemnt. With that said, having stayed at a cabin below the Lido deck, I would say it has been a problem for me.
It also depends on how light a sleeper you are. If youare worry about the noise, ask for a change of cabin now, sooner or later. The front of deck 10 are cabins so if you in a cabin ahead of the magic attrium elevators, you should be okay on deck 9.

I've never been on Breeze, but I've stayed in a cabin directly underneath the kids club on an NCL ship, and I could definitely hear the kids running around in the afternoon one day when I was trying to take a nap. But it didn't really bother me that much. I can see where it might bother a very light sleeper. It wasn't really a major concern for me, but my cabin was definitely directly under the club, and I could hear some noise upstairs.

If you are a light sleeper, change of cabin would be good. However, there is no guarantee that you will have peace and quite.
I once had a neghibor who probably had hearing problem. The volume form the TV is so loud that I can hear it loud and celar in my cabin.
When I book my cabin, I try to avoid close proximity to major entrance way/walkway. I definitely avoid cabins near, above or below any entertianment venues, especially night clubs and the theathre, or the sports deck.

Always book a cabin that is sandwiched between decks of cabins above and below. It doesn't guarantee you won't have an inconsiderate neighbor but it eliminates lots of other noise from above or below. Also make sure to bring along earplugs, they muffle out 50% of the noise and can make a difference between a good and bad night's sleep.
