airport lodging
I have a lllllooooonnnngggg layover at SEA - get in at 7pm on a Saturday and leave noon on Sunday (don't ask!).
I am looking for a recommendation for a modestly priced lodging that has a shuttle. Under $100.
Or, what the heck do I do in an airport for that many hours - lol
Thank you
debbie

I like this restaurant, right next to the airport, to have dinner.

Arriving at 7 PM, and leaving at noon, you can easily take light rail transit into downtown Seattle and enjoy Seattle nightlife.

Will Travel - thanks so much for both pieces of advice. I have not used the Priceline feature before. I am not leaving until June 2013, should I book now or wait?
Appreciate your help

Try priceline and if you aren't successful there are lots of inexpensive hotels. Several are close to the light rail station so you can easily pop into the city Saturday night if you want.
The Clarion has rooms under $90 most nights.

I would wait until May at least, because it seems that you can easily have success with Seattle airport hotels on Priceline up to the day of the trip. If you want, you can book a cancellable hotel in case Priceline does not pan out - the Clarion is perfectly fine, and I have stayed there too.

JanisJ and WillTravel - you're the best! Thanks
I will pend and wait. I did find a bid alert on Priceline and filled that out.
It would be bad if I win something and no shuttle service though.

I agree any airport hotel will do the trick. Thru Priceline or just at an inexpensive rate (there's lots of the budget chains represented0. Some are close enough you could just walk across the highway if no shuttle is offered. 13 Coins is another restaurant possibility. Or head to the airport a bit early, the food court there is excellent.
