First time cruise to Bermuda
Hello everyone,
We are FINALLY taking our honeymoon (almost ten years later !!!!). My spouse has been on a few cruises, but I am a cruise newbie. We are in our late 30's.
I've perused some of the travel sites in regards to 'things to do' or 'what to expect', but I'm hoping for some real, hands-on experiences from some of the members here. The last thing we want to do is spend time in the room. But we also don't want to waste our time doing things we can do at home. Well, except for those things you NEED to do in private .
The last thing we want to happen is to see something we would have liked to have done, but can't (simply because we didn't know ahead of time).
Suggestions, input, and advice are greatly appreciated.

Good stuff, cmcfong. Good stuff.
In Bermuda, do they have things like parasailing, skydiving, surfing, etc. ? I'm having a hard time finding the skinny on that sort of stuff.
Any help is appreciated <thumbup>.

Parasailing, yes, and kite surfing, but I never saw any skydiving and there's not much in the way of surfing - the reef breaks the waves up before they get to shore in lots of places, or you'd be dealing with coral formations near the shoreline. But the snorkelling is amazing, and there are jetski tours. There are also options to rent a little pontoon party boat or Boston Whaler and go exploring on your own.
Skip the helmet dive (I speak from personal experience there) and research any potential snorkelling tours - some go so far off-shore, you spend more of your tour time stuck on the boat getting to and from the sites than you do enjoying them. You could bring your own gear and snorkel from shore a lot cheaper.
Enjoy your trip!! I am just a little jealous!
