Sounds like a good plan even though a little rushed. Could be a great introduction to Spain. When are you going and what are your interests?
These sites have good and updated info on Madrid and Sevilla, two very "Spanish cities" but very different.

Sounds good to me, too! I like that you will be spending time in some of these places after day-trippers leave - they can be so different then! I encourage you to reserve your Alhambra visits (day and night) in advance. Enjoy!

I think you'll probably wish you spent more time in Ronda. I'd be inclined to skip Arcos (never been there, though) and spend at least another half day in Ronda, maybe another overnight. We loved it there.

I love that people experience places so differently! I had planned to stay 1.5 days in Ronda, but left after less than a day. I was very glad to have seen what I had seen, but I had no desire whatsoever to stay any longer. Especially when so many other places called out to me. Vive la différence!

Thank you all. Thanks for the links, as well. I 'mconsidering yje Ronda, skip Marcos idea. Anyone else want to weigh in?
Any thoughts about the drive from Granada to Seville?
I will be there I'm mid to late September, and Will celebrate my 65th birthday there!!

If you are willing to skip Marcos, you might want to add that time to Cordoba (I found more than enough to keep me happily busy there for 2 full days) or Toledo (another place that I thought worth at least 2 full days) or - if you are interested in art - Madrid.
What a great place to spend a special birthday!

If you are in Sevilla in September, you should know that the most important and prestigious flamenco festival, the Bienal de Flamenco, goes on in theaters all around town for the entire month. A night at a Bienal performance will be light years away from the flamenco most tourist experience. Mostly a local and knowledgeable crowd, and it could easily be a highlight of your trip. http://www.flamenco-world.com/notici...l23052012.html
