VUELING - A LITTLE WARNING

I wake up this morning with a nice message from Vueling..

¡Lo sentimos! Tu reserva ha cambiado
Te informamos que tu vuelo ha cambiado.
El nuevo horario de tu vuelo es el siguiente:......
Sentimos cualquier inconveniente que este cambio pueda causarte.

We are sorry! Your reservation has been changed.
We inform you that your flight has changed.
Your new flight itinerary is as follow.....
We regret any inconvenience that this change may cause you

OK.... I can't believe they just move you around like a piece of luggage.
In our case as we have a lay over of 10 hrs in Barcelona, leaving to Venice a couple of hours earlier isn't an issue, but a blessing. But, if someone has purchased a ticket with only 2 hours between connections, they would lose Vueling ticket?

I'm puzzled about their policies.

Happens ALL THE TIME and with every airline. People often call the airline and tell them why the new connections aren't acceptable. I've done it more than once and have always be re-accommodated or offered a full refund.

Good to know. Although we have enough time between flights, I don't know if these cheap airlines give you any kind of refund if you can't make it.

Before this happening I read in their policies that if I wanted to change to an earlier flight I had to pay 30eu per ticket for the 4 of us.

If they change your reservation and you don't like it you can get a full refund.

At least you were notified! I've found out by chance on some flights in my Life.

I just got a notice from Delta about a flight in July that now leaves about an hour later than originally planned.

You can get a refund from any airline if you inform them as soon as you get this notice that the change will prevent you from making another flight. But, all you get is the limited amount you spent back - you then have to look for another flight - perhaps at the last minute and much higher rate.

I've gotten three notices from Delta and one from Vayama regarding our flights for our upcoming trip. None of them inconvenienced us thankfully, but I'm not printing our itinerary until the day before just in case it happens again.

Happens all the time. We had a American Airlines flight from Stanstead and they changed it to Heathrow. So we had to find accommodations in London for a night at our expense.

And it may happen more than once for a flight, a problem for those of us who like to book a long time in advance to save money or reduce stress.
