water taxi in Venice from Rail S Lucia to Rialto Hotel
Hi we will be going to Venice from Ruome and arriving by rail S. Lucia. We will be staying at the Rialto Hotel. How would you suggest us to get from the Rail to the hotel. I am looking at the cheapest option if it is not to stressful. Any help would be apprciated.

You can walk everywhere (Venice isn't very big), but the vaporetto passes come in handy if you plan on going to the outlying islands or just like to explore. We would walk until we were tired and ride a bus back to our apartment.

How much luggage will you have? And what vaporetto stop has the hotel suggested you use? And how long a walk is it from the dock to the hotel?
I would assume the vaporetto is the least expensive as long as you are comfortable getting on and off it with your luggage.
