Arriving in Hong Kong airport at 7.30am and would like to know the best transport to the Sheraton Towers, Is the Tsim Sha Tsui walking distance, to the hotel?

The Sheraton sits literally atop the Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations. But there's no easy or direct train service between the airport and those two train stations.

Your best choices are taxi (~HK$250 or US$35) or Airport Express train (HK$90; group and roundtrip discounts available) to Kowloon and switch to taxi or free shuttle bus. Or take the A21 Cityflyer bus. Slower but cheaper (HK$33, roundtrip discount available), and there's a stop just steps from the Sheraton.

Sheraton used to have a shuttle bus from the airport. You might ask them if it is still available.

Very few hotels in the city have their own shuttles or limos to/from airport, and I doubt the Sheraton ever have one. Instead, they'll book you on the Airport-Hotelink service, which is a share-ride coach/van. If you're lucky, there's minimal wait and you will be one of the first drops. But there's no guarantee. Since taxis are relatively inexpensive, with 2 people or more, there's little reason to use that service.

I always use Viator.com to book my airport transfers. A representative from a local company will meet you on arrival and place you into the car and the drive will direct you straight to your hotel. Have never had any issues using them around the world! Now that I have said it, I dont know if they offer it in Hong Kong!

It's really very easy to take the airport express train to Kowloon station, then take either the free shuttle bus or a taxi to the hotel (we walked, which was a mistake, because of the distances you have to go to cross the very busy streets in Kowloon).

On the return, the advantage is that you can check in for your flight (including depositing your luggage) at the train station.
