Hi - my husband and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in November. I think we've narrowed it down to Turks & Caicos. Any preference on the following hotels:

Gainsevoort
Grace Bay Club
Seven Stars

Any others you'd recommend?

You've picked a fantastic place! All three of your choices are excellent but have different personalities. Tell us a little more of you to help decide.

I've stayed at all three and would do it again! There are many excellent properties in Provo all gorgeous.

For first time, you might want Seven Stars, in the middle, you can walk to numerous restaurants and small shops and grocery store. You do need a car for other excellent restaurants (and at night I would recommend) and if you want to go snorkeling.

Again, tell us more about your vacation tastes and we can help. Your question is too general.

Thanks for the quick reply.... let me know if this is enough additional info -

- looking for a less family friendly resort (don't mind kids, but as we're leaving our daughter at home, we'd like not to be sitting next to screaming kids at the beach / pool / meals.
- looking for beautiful pool / and beach. Plunge pool in the room is a bonus.
- Not looking for crazy nightlife, but would like to be able to have cocktails in the evening after dinner.
- Expect the room to be luxurious (I think we are planning on the trip to be $5000 - $6500 for just the hotel - not including food or airfare)
- We aren't planning on too many activities while there - we are just looking for a very relaxing vacation (lots of pool / beach time with some books and a fruity cocktail in hand).

Parrot Cay sounds what you're looking for, some of the beachfront rentals have plunge r full size pools, but I don't know if those rooms would be in your budget. They do run specials, sounds like what you mit be looking for.

At Grace Bay Club might fit the bill too, the Estates section a couple of rooms have small plunge pools. The original hotel is adults only and has it's own pool and restaurant. It has a cool infinity bar. Easy walk to numerous restaurants and a small casino.

Seven Stars has everything but the plunge pool. I think the Deck on the beach is the most chic upscale lounge area to hang out in. It's in the middle so you can walk to numerous restaurants and small shopping strips and grocry store.

Gansevoort is South Beach Miami vibe. Very modern, gorgeous rooms. It is closer to snorkel and requires cars to the best restaurants. The pool has little individual island decks with lounge chairs, really cool.

I recommend having a car anyway, it's a dark island at night, and some of the best restaurants are scattered about.

All are gorgeous properties. Parrot Cay being on it's own island might be a little too quiet for what you're looking for, but it mit be what you're looking for! Best service anywhere to refill those fruity drinks.

I would agree with blamona that Parrot Cay would be perfect for private villas and plunge pools, there's also Amanyara though a bit pricey. Of the 3 you mention Gansevoort would be my choice.

We visited Turks last November (2nd week) and saw quite a few young families at Seven Stars. And for what it's worth, the beach in front of Seven Stars is much more narrow and was more crowded than the beach at The Gansevoort. However, the Gansevoort is much further from restaurants, town, etc., so you will definitely need a car or have to rely on taxis which are expensive!!
