Hiking and/or sightseeing suggestions for northern NM?
During a Spring trip this year, I will be traveling from Pagosa Springs to Abiquiu/Ojo Caliente. Any suggestions for the the most scenic mini hike somewhere along Route 84 between those two points?

Not between but near Abiquiu I can suggest several places:
Best hike was at Ghost Ranch up to Chimney Rock. Easy hike and spectacular views! Best easy to see natural formation was Echo Ampitheater. Very cool and secluded hiking around Plaza Blanca.
We stayed in a completely secluded casita overlooking Lake Abiquiu. It was perfect in every way.
If you need supplies, Bodes General Store in Abiquiu will have what you need.

Thank you Austin!
I had been thinking about Plaza Blanca. I found a few sites that gave directions but they seemed a bit different. Do you know a good way to get there from the Ghost Ranch area?

Put this address in your GPS:
342 County Road 155, Abiquiu, NM 87510
That's the address for the Dar Al Islam Mosque. There is an access point to Plaza Blanca from there. Basically, from Ghost Ranch you head toward Abiquiu, cross the river, and then take a right on 155. Keep to the right for about 6 miles (you'll be driving along the river) until you see the entrance for the mosque on the left. Then it's another mile or so down the road (all of this is dirt roads but very manageable).

I also wanted to mention that there weren't any marked hikes here. It's easy just to hike around and take it all in. It's a very unique place and there was practically no one there. Be careful if it's raining though.
If you're staying in the area look into the casitas at Lake Abiquiu on vrbo. Very remote but so totally cool. There are about 5 or 6 of them, all individually owned.
