Help! Special room at Miramare or junior suite at Marincanto in Positano?
I am turning into a serial poster but I am considering two hotels for my honeymoon in Positano (five nights at the end of September):
Special Room 210 at Miramare and a junior suite at Marincanto.
Any feedback on which would be better for my honeymoon?
I undertand they both have great views. Location might be slightly better at Marincanto.
I just cannot make up my mind and I want this to be perfect! Thanks.

We stayed in a junior suite (room 209) at the Marincanto in August for 4 nights. The views from our room, our balcony, and the whirlpool tub were unforgettable. The staff at this hotel are just lovely. We ended our two week trip in Positano, but if we'd started there, we never would have left. You can see my trip report by clicking on my name. We were celebrating our 35th anniversary and I don't think it gets much more romantic than the Marincanto.

I recently looked into both and it was recommended by another Fodorite to stay at the Marincanto. I also asked them for more photos and info on the special rooms/suites and they did send along a lot of information.
We are not headed to Positano this time but my plan in the future is to stay at Hotel Marincanto.

I stayed at Hotel Marincanto for 7 nights this past September and it is simply one of the most romantic hotels out there. The infiniti pool that looks out onto the sea. The private beach where you can take a swim in the sea. I could have stayed all 16 nights just in Positano.
We enjoyed a boat tour to Capri by the boat outfitter Gennare and Salvator.

Rsfinn, we chose to spend the first five nights of our honeymoon in room 210 at the Miramare and we were so happy with our choice. The room was beautiful and some of our best moments were spent on our balcony together. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and we really enjoyed our breakfasts, which were delivered to our balcony each morning. If you have any questions about Positano, I would love to help.
