Always type your trip report in your word processing software first then copy and paste into Fodors.

I'm sorry this happened...both for your efforts lost, and for those of us happily following your trip!

Hi lincasanova,

This probably isn't what happened but just in case . . . could you have hit F11 by accident?? I do that all the time and the document or web page disappears. Clicking F11 again or just moving the cursor to the top of the desktop and the document/page reappears.

who knows.. tried for ages to back track, etc.. anyway. I must learn how to recuperate stuff on this mac because it happens sometimes writing an email too sometimes and I don't know why.

F11 is way up at top of my Mac so I think it is something i do near the lower right hand corner when making a paragraph.

I will try to get in the mood to re-write it all soon.

Yes, it was a touching trip and we had some great experiences that I will certainly share with you!

I get mad at myself for touching the touchpad on my Sony Vaio in the 'wrong way' and having things (temporarily) disappear. Was this on a laptop? That touchpad can be a big problem. I've been told you can turn off the touchpad and use a mouse instead. (good idea)
