Good day. I know there is lots of topics about this, but i still havent found any time schedule between Nice and Monaco. As i read from somewhere, from Nice airport to Nice is 1€ and from there the roundtrip is 2.60€. Does anybody happens to have any schedules or more information as well as my trip starts in 4 days and i have to sort it all out how to get from Nice airport to Nice, where to hold my luggage, how to get to Monaco, from Monaco back to nice and from there to Aix-En-Provence. Would be helpful if someone would reply

Hi Kalvic - I can't help you with the schedules but the centre of Nice is approx. 3 miles from the airport. The busses run often. One bus is a special airport bus and costs a little more than 1 euro, maybe 3 and the other is the regular city bus.

My only problem is transport and luggage hold. I probably can hold my luggage at the airport. From Nice-Monaco and other way around is transported by bus nr. 100, right? As i understood, it goes 4 times per hour. The information points will be my friends to find those bus stops, but if anybody knows by the bus stops how to get from airport to Nice and from there to Monaco. Oh, and anybody knows time schedule from Nice to Aix-En-Provence? As i heard the bus goes 2 times a day which might be kinda awful for us because we might not look around in Monaco that much. Any information is appreciated

It is actually possible to get between Nice and the airport on normal buses i.e. for cheaper without taking the day pass, but honestly you probably won't want to bother. In case you really really do want to, it's line 23

The bus between Nice and Monaco can be very crowded, but is cheaper and you do get nice coastal views (better than the train). The timetable for the 100, which leaves from the central bus station (gare routière), is here

I actually think I read somewhere that they moved or were planning to move the site of the bus station, you may want to check on that if you do want to take the bus.

The train goes from Nice to Monaco and also from Nice to Aix. I would get the train rather than the bus.

If you click on the train site above, given by PalenQ, you'll see they run to Monaco about every 10-20 minutes so I'd just turn up and get on the next train.

for train schedules go to one of the links I gave above - www.budgeteuropetravel.com and on their home page click on the link "Best European Railways Timetable" or some such wording and this takes you to the Wunderbar www.bahn.de or German Railways site that has schedules for all of Europe and is the easiest one I have seen to use - will not give fares but count on the schedules as accurate - I refer to this home page link because it also gives you several tips on using the superb bahn.de site that may not be apparent at first encounter. Note put in Nice-Ville as your departure station and Aix-en-Provance TGV as your destination station. If your train is too far in advance to be loaded just load in a day that is close enough as train times for trains like these rarely change much. For costs go to the french Railways web site www.voyages-sncf.com and you will find full price for fully flexible and changeable tickets and a discounted price for train -specific and generally I think non-rrefundable non-changeable tickets but at a significant discount - if available and they may well have the limited in number of those tickets sell out weeks in advance. It's about a 2 hour trip I believe.

I assume you will arrive at the Nice airport in the morning and want to spend most of the day in Monaco before going on to Aix-en-Provence the same day. Is this right?

Take express bus #99 from the airport to the Nice Ville train station. Store your luggage in one of the coin-operated lockers at the station. Take a regional train to Monaco. Take a regional train back to Nice Ville. Collect your luggage. Take the train to Aix-en-Provence.
