Barcelona tapas walk

We area group of 7 who will be visiting Barcelona in late September. We are staying at the Market Hotel near the Sant Antoni Market
One evening, we would like to hit several tapas bars (kind of a tapas pub crawl, if you will)
That said, can anyone suggest an area that we are likely to find several good tapas bars in close proximity?
Being a large group it's more difficult to jump around the city, so i thought it best to focus on a particular neighborhood and just wander.
Suggestions with neigborhood and names of recommended places would be great.
It's been years since I've been to Barcelona, I can't wait to go again!

The El Born area in the Barrio Gótico/Old town would be just perfect, excellent places on almost every corner.

Some suggestions:

I recommend Catalana Cervesaria in Eixample neighborhood. It was our favorite restaurant when we were in Barcelona last October & we ate there twice. There are many other restaurants in Eixample, but I am not familiar with them.

I also recommend Taller de Tapas & Sagardi in El Born at Carrer Argenteria. These 2 restaurants are across the street from each other.

Another Fodorite(Duty Free) recommended Sagardi and we enjoyed it. They serve cider (tasted like wine) from a spigot in the wall and the tapas were very tasty. Outdoor dining is available but there is an extra charge for it-well worth it though.

thanks for the fast responses!
Kimhe- i had read that the El Born area was a good place for tapas bars, i didn't want to put that in my original post, so i could keep the suggestions wide open
you confirmed my research, though!
thanks to all for assistance. i only included the location of our hotel in case there were some great places around there that Fodories knew.
Looks like El Born and Eixample it is! will post trip report upon return.

Have you read Maribel's Guide to Barcelona (www.maribelsguides.com)?

Here is a lot of food info from my recent visit.

Although there are plenty of tapas places, Barcelona is not really known for tapas:
