bachelor party in Amsterdam

A buddy of mine is having his bachelor party in Amsterdam and we'll be staying there from Thursday 10/6 - Saturday 10/8. None of us has ever been there before - are there any suggestions for a group of guys in their 20's. I tried doing a search in the forums but didn't find anything. Any input is appreciated.

How about patronizing Amsterdam's hundreds of coffee shops where cannabis is sold from posted menus - zillions of varieties and can be smoked on the premises - you will have no problem finding these are they are virtually all over. Watch out for the hash cakes if not used to them however.

Of course just wander around a bit and enjoy Amsterdam.
For parties is depends on what kind of music you like..
You have Melkweg, Paradiso, Powerzone and many more.

This will help you to find a good party.
If you like big BIG parties take a look at partyflock.nl
Have no idea if there is anything that weekend. But this will help you on your way.

The best stag parties you can organize at the Red Light Workshop, they are located in the most narrow alleyway of Europe(Trompetterssteeg). They offer great tours and funny workshops, and have a really funny photoshoot. Check www.redlightworkshop.com for more details

Hen parties with British girls are some of the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

If you're doing it wrong.

If you're a 20-something and asking Fodor's what there is to for a bachelor party, you're doing it wrong.

Anyhoo:

1. Coffee houses. Smoke yourselves stupid.
2. Bars. Drink yourselves stupid.
3. Clubs. Dance yourselves stupid.
4. Red Light District. Errr...

One of my favourite memories of Amsterdam: My beloved and I were walking through the RLD early on a Saturday Afternoon. A group of about 15 young British guys had obviously been drinking solidly since the previous evening, and were "perving" at the womwn in the glass booths.

Suddenly one of the number glanced across the canal to a large bar opposite - and shouted "'ere, they're showing Man U v Liverpool over there. Suddenly the whole group is lurching down the path and forming a scrum trying to get over the bridge and into the pub.
