Don't like the new look!
The message font is too small and the same color as the username and country tag. Very hard to notice the author's name in relation to the message. Some message appear in black and other in blue fonts - why?
How about fixing the "triangle" screen and the option to change username or to impersonate someone else?

Yes, something funny is happening. I had the old look at home on my Mac, got to my office and had the new look on my PC. The new look was very hard to read. Now I have the old look on my PC.
But Fodors is running very slow this morning.
LOL, Hanuman, "How about fixing the "triangle" screen and the option to change username or to impersonate someone else?" I does seem we have a few changed user names recently...

Kathie,
I don't know if you look at Tripadvisor.com or not but they have recently implemented a "Star" system or graphic so that people can tell, well sort of, if the reviewer is new(or most likely fake) or someone who has been around and done other reviews. I think this help in determining if the poster or reviewer is genuine or a travel agent in disguise.

Seriously though - other websites do it based on the inputs from users like my example from Tripadvisor. But here on Fodors it's probably done for aesthetic reasons. My suggestion about changing the format for the window that appears when you click the triangle, which many agree is very worthwhile to change, has been ignored.
Oh well if it's not for the people who post here I would be long gone!

Really slow to load this morning
Couldn't get to the Asia forum page. The page never fully loaded in after three times so had to go to a post fodors was highlighting and get in the back way.
When I finally got to the Asia forum page it was not in this present format so I reloaded and finally got here.
Hope you can fix this fodors as this is the second day in a row and it is getting frustrating!!!!!
Aloha!

Hi everyone,
We made some changes to the forums yesterday that caused a few posters to have formatting problems. Refreshing the page or pressing F5 should take care of the problem. If you experience any other problems, please email me at [email protected] so I can address your individual concerns.
