Costa Rica Shuttle Service
Can someone recommend a reputable shuttle service with good prices in Costa Rica? I need to use one to get me to several areas and I'm not sure what company to use. I am going from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, MA to Arenal Volcano and AV to Guanacaste. Thanks for the suggestions!

Two nationwide shuttles, both are reputable and they have similar prices:
Interbus

Interbus and Grayline are both private shuttle services. Do you mean... you are looking for an "on-demand" shuttle service that will take just you? Each of these offers that as well as Anywhere Costa Rica.
All of the transportation services in Costa Rica are private - including buses and shuttles. All owned and operated by private companies.
Costa Rica Shuttle is OK (not The Costa Rica Shuttle - notice the THE).
Interbus is the most popular shuttle service in Costa Rica, followed by Grayline. Various areas have some regional shuttles but these are the main ones that go all around the country.

Most people who use Grayline and Interbus are sharing the vehicle with people other than those in their party. The van goes around to a few San Jose hotels and picks people up and then heads to Manuel Antonio, where it drops people off at their various hotels. You certainly can reserve a vehicle just for your group, but it's cost more.

There's also Transportation in Costa Rica (www.transportationincostarica.com), or Shutle Bus from Monteverde (http://www.shuttlebuscr.com/).

I think I am going to book my trip with AnywhereCostaRica.org, they take care of most everything including transportation and have been very helpful and staying within my budget. Has anyone had experience with them before? Any problems?
Also, I am a littl worried about flights within Costa Rica because of the luggage weight restrictions of 22lbs, that's not much.

Do not use the company called "The Costa Rica Shuttle" Notice the word "The". This guy is just a middleman that will take your money over the internet and then provide only half of the service. He is a scam artist. Do not use his company.
