Buying SITA bus tickets in Sorrento
I noticed in a previous response to one of my posts, that the store selling SITA bus tickets in Sorrento closes for lunch. We will likely be arriving in Sorrento on the Currieri bus from Naples airport around lunchtime. Any suggestions for getting tickets?

you can buy the sita tickets at any tabacco and newspaper store in the town - "tabaccaio", they do close at lunchtime... usually from 1 or 2 pm till 3 or 4 pm . The main train station sells SITA tickets as well, as far as i remember they were open all day.

There's an integrated system for ticketing the public transport here in Campania, and you can buy them wherever you see the UnicoCampanio logo...

For some journeys you'll need the UnicoCostiera version, which is described on that website - where additionally you can look up their "Points of Sale" (44 in Sorrento, or so they say), and download some immensely useful maps!

The more recent SITA timetables do explain themselves better than some of the old ones - try this for instance:

F is every Monday to Saturday unless the day's also a public holiday
H is Sundays and public holidays
G is daily as in every day of the week
S is every Monday to Saturday when it's school time (but not, I've always assumed, on public holidays)
L is every Monday to Friday unless the day's also a public holiday
