Need advice: Wengen - Lucerne - Zuirch airport
Hi All,
We plan to train from Venice late June to Interlaken region but we only have 2 real days, (not counting most of one day to train from Venice). From what I read, maybe staying in Wengen is the best for 2 nights and then Lucerne for the last night to take an early train to Zurich airport for a 1:20 PM flight. Any tips on where to stay in Wengen (or Lauterbrunnen) and in Lucerne (for ease to catch the airport train) would be greatly appreciated. We have a family of 4 and ideally would like 1 room.

Hello jlubeck
If you go to booking.com for Wengen (or your town of choice), simply select your city, dates, etc.
On quick glance, there are only a handful of hotels in Wengen that accept 4 to a room.
Not knowing your dates in June, and just by randomly selecting a two-night stay, it looks as if Hotel Bernerhof would be well within your budget, 341 CHF for the two nights I selected. (200 Euro will be about 259 CHF.)
Happy travels!

Hello swisshiker, Great tip - the booking.com shows the quadruple rooms up front to make an easy search. The Bernerhof looks like a good possibility. I've sent off a request to see if a vrbo listing will rent to us just for the 2 days. Have not heard, I'm guessing they will not.
