Greater Savannah

For bigger chains and shopping malls, head to the Southside; it’s also where you’ll find the majority of Savannah’s movie theaters and cheaper rates on chain hotels. Gateway is conveniently located close to the Savannah/Hilton Head Airport off of Interstate 95 about 20 minutes from downtown. While it doesn’t offer the Historic District’s charm, the hotel and motel rates can’t be beat.
